Engineering firm discusses the value of 3D modeling, from beginning to end of design projects.
An article published by Hazen and Sawyer, a leader in the design and fabrication of water treatment facilities, discusses the positive impacts of using 3D solid modeling over all phases of their design and development projects. Although they specifically discuss projects with $1 billion, $17 million, and $7 million budgets, one of the more important points they bring forward in their article, is that the benefits are not dependent on the relative size, complexity, or cost of the project. Smaller projects, even with budgets as low as thousands or hundreds of dollars, can experience positive results. To read the entire article, click this link: 3D Modeling as a Tool for all Phases
